Terri L. Keeling, DSc, CPHIMS, Vice President, Information Technology at University Hospitals Health System

Dr. Terri Keeling has an extensive background in healthcare operations and IT. Her experience spans across the healthcare spectrum to include the management of operations, program development, revenue and cycle, health information management, regulatory management, patient safety, space planning, product management, and payment and care delivery models. Her IT experience includes the management of technology infrastructure, field operations, security, applications, and EHR in both the acute setting, as well as ambulatory. Her current role is as vice president of information technology at University Hospitals Health System. Prior to University Hospital Health System, Keeling was the vice president and chief information officer for Magee-Women's Hospital of UPMC, UPMC Mercy, UPMC East, and UPMC McKeesport. Keeling is also a part-time faculty member in the health science administration program at Robert Morris University. Her own educational background and formal credentials include Doctor of Science in information systems and communication; Master of Science in information technology project management; Bachelor of Science in information systems and communications; PMP credentialed by the Project Management Institute; CPHIMS certified; and ITIL certified.
