Kristen Anderson, Senior Clinical Applications Analyst at University Hospitals

 Kristen Anderson is a Senior Clinical Applications Analyst with University Hospitals of Cleveland and has been with UH for 21 years. She started her career as a Patient Care Assistant while finishing her BSN degree at Cleveland State University. Kristen graduated from Cleveland State with honors from the National Honors Society of Nursing. Upon graduation she worked as an RN on the Med/Surg unit for 9 years, upon which she took the opportunity to join the IT department assisting in an EMR upgrade. She discovered how challenging and satisfying it was to work with EMRs and became hooked. Kristen has expertise with Meditech, Allscripts and is currently in the process of obtaining Epic accreditation. She enjoys taking complex problems and finding simple solutions to make clinical documentation and workflows support excellent patient care while also remaining user-friendly for clinicians.
