Craig Schwabl, VP, Digital Solutions & Enterprise Analytics at University Hospitals

Craig is a highly accomplished and creative technology executive with over 25 years of experience in information technology, software design & architecture, and business intelligence. Craig joined University Hospitals in 2016 where he currently serves as the Vice President, Digital Solutions & Enterprise Analytics for the health system, overseeing all aspects of system’s analytics services and software development including web, mobile, and cloud platforms. Under Craig’s leadership, University Hospitals initiated its first cloud-based analytics platform, supported by a new system-wide Data Governance program. In addition, Craig pioneered the system’s first enterprise mobile scheduling platform which was awarded the University Hospitals President’s Award for Innovation. 

Prior to University Hospitals, Craig spent over 20 years in other major industry verticals including Media, Telecommunications, and Banking, including becoming a founding member of a media startup in Cleveland, OH where he held several key positions including Vice President of Engineering, Chief Architect, and CTO. Craig holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from John Carroll University, and received his MBA from Cleveland State University.
